There’s an App for That… ALA Session Share

(Written by Katie Saunders) A great session was, There’s An App for That: Using Technology to Enhance Children’s Librarianship presented by Travis Jonker, Wayland Union Schools Michigan and John Schumacher – Brook Forest Elementary School of Oak Brook, IL  (AKA Mr. Schu, the partner of Shannon Miller in the blog Two Libraries, One Voice). YES INDEED, two male elementary librarians!!!  How refreshing!

One recommended app was Fancy Nancy!!  Worried about reluctant boys? Well, books don’t have genders in the library,  and nobody has refused to use it.

Find all the apps they recommended during their part of the session- http://tinyurl.com/jonkerschu
